It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Gesido Joseph Angelone, who passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early morning hours of Friday, February 6, 2026, at the age of 86.

Born on December 19, 1939, Gesido was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, four children, and ten grandchildren. Throughout his life, his primary focus and greatest joy was his family, with a particular dedication to the well-being of his son, Peter.

Gesido cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren, Amanda and John. He and John spent countless hours together enjoying Gesido’s lifelong passion for trains, a love that defined his career as a train driver. A true handyman at heart, he was always fixing things and beginning home projects that he never finished. His family will fondly remember his logical advice and steady guidance through all of life’s challenges.

He will be remembered as a beloved pillar of his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Services will be held Monday, February 9th, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Aievoli Funeral Home on 1275 65th St Brooklyn, New York 11219
