Obituary For Rosina Cipolla

Rose Cipolla

Sept 5, 1935- April 4, 2024

Rose Cipolla wife of the late Ralph V. Cipolla passed away peacefully surrounded by her entire family at the age of 88. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York to the late Carolina and Joseph Pallante, and was a caring sister to Mary Tocci, Angie Macaluso, Carol Lagmozini, her late brother Michael Pallante, and her late sisters Jean Spinnato, and Frances Bonfiglio.

A proud alumnus of New Utrecht High School finishing in just three years with honors. Rose went on to be a secretary in the insurance business. As a child Rose found the love of her life Ralph living just across the street whom she went on to marry, creating their greatest treasure of all, her family.

Rose’s legacy lives on in her children: Deborah and Douglas Szal, Vincent Cipolla, and Rosina and Andrew Apicella; and her loving grandchildren: Deborah, Joseph, Jade, Vincent, and Andrew. Her great grandchildren: Makyla, Paul, Joey, Anthony, and Coral.

Rose was a remarkable woman who lived a long and fulfilling life. Among holding many officer positions within various clubs; planning numerous fundraisers and events. Rose enjoyed going out to restaurants, boating, vacationing, and spending the summers in Rocky Point. Having a creative mind you could always find Rose at her sewing machine, making dresses, and costumes for herself, children, and grandchildren. The rest of her time was spent cooking, baking, singing, dancing, and talking with her sisters on the phone.

She was a strong woman who impacted all who knew her and was loved beyond measure. Her elegance, wisdom, and grace will forever be missed.

The family will hold viewing hours at the Ralph Aievoli & Sons Funeral Home on Sunday, April 7th from 2:00pm-9:00pm. A Funeral mass will be held at Regina Pacis Church on Monday, April 8th at 9:30am.

We take comfort in knowing that Rose’s life was not just lived, but truly celebrated. Her memory will live on in the stories we share, the love we remember, and the legacy she leaves behind.

My friend Rose. I will miss our conversations regarding faith and loyalty to family friends and most of all our Lord. She will always be remembered by me for her faith and dedication to her husband and her children. Additionally, when think of Rose I think of Ann Jarski. Two wonderful people. Jackie (Ruth) Cardone
